Spending some time looking for different holiday recipes for Christmas this year. I really want to share the Oils and thought why not with cookies?
Found this recipe on a fellow doTERRA blogger;

Ingredients:
1 ¼ cup Butter
2 cups White Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
2 ½ cups Flour
1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
5 drops dōTERRA CPTG Peppermint Essential Oil
1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
Do you think they’d freeze well?
Yes, I think they will freeze just fine!
I’m planning to make these this week but I’m still confused about the recipe asking for white sugar and granulated sugar — they are the same thing. The question above asked about powdered sugar and you said yes, but then referenced raw sugar; those aren’t the same thing. I’m guessing the 2 cups of white sugar is for the cookie dough, and that the 1/3 cup of granulated sugar for coating is actually powdered sugar?
I am sorry I did not get a notification regarding your question, I suppose you figured it out, sometimes it is best to just do a trail before a class,
and yes, you are correct.
Your recipe calls for white sugar and granulated sugar. Is white sugar referring to “powdered sugar?
Yes, opposed to say brown sugar. I would use the “raw sugar” that is not refined.
About how many cookies does this recipe make?
well I guess it depends on the size of cookies you make – if they are 2′ Around, you can count on about 12, this is a small recipe. But excellent!
